How our maps are developed
All of our ECU remaps are developed and extensively tested in-house on our MAHA MSR 500 dyno.
Our focus isn’t simply on achieving the highest possible power figures. We carefully balance performance, reliability and drivability to ensure every calibration delivers strong, smooth and usable gains while keeping the engine operating safely within sensible limits.
Wherever possible, we also aim to retain the vehicle’s original OEM driving characteristics, so the car still feels natural and refined to drive — just with improved performance where it matters.
The result is a remap that performs better in the real world, not just on a dyno graph.

AdBlue countdowns, blocked DPFs and sticking EGR valves are some of the most common diesel faults we see. We diagnose the cause properly and repair it, so the car stays MOT and road legal.

Diesel particulate filter
Limp mode, a DPF light or constant regenerations. We find out why it's blocking, not just clear the light.

Flat spots, rough idle, smoke or EGR fault codes. We test the valve and cooler and put it right.

How it works
This is a rolling road remap. An off-dyno remap skips the power runs and takes up to 40 minutes.
Fault code scan, leak test and inspection. If something needs fixing first, we'll tell you.
Your car goes on the rolling road so we know exactly what it makes as standard.
We read the original ECU file and store a copy against your registration.
The map is written for your car, then refined with live data logging.
A final power run, your printout, and 14 days to come back if anything needs adjusting.

A well-written map on a healthy car stays within the safe limits of the engine and gearbox. That's why every remap starts with a health check, and why we log live data before handing the car back.
Yes. A remap is a modification and must be declared. We'll give you a written summary of the work to pass on to your insurer.
It can. Manufacturers may decline engine or gearbox claims on a tuned car. If your car is under warranty, talk to us first and we'll explain your options.
Yes. We keep your original file on record, so we can reload it whenever you need, for example before selling the car.
On diesels it usually improves. Our own VW Transporter T6.1 140 bhp gained 5.5 mpg around town and up to 12 mpg on the motorway after a Stage 1 remap, and some customers have reported 18 mpg or more. On petrol cars it depends more on how you use the extra power.
Yes. Our AdBlue, DPF and EGR solutions start from £250, including a full diagnostic and live data check. We find what's causing the fault and repair it, and we'll quote for any parts before we fit them.
Both use the same health check, file backup and calibration. A rolling road remap adds power runs before and after, so the map can be refined on the dyno and you get a printout of the gains. Off-dyno is quicker and suits most standard cars. We recommend the rolling road for modified cars, Stage 2 and gearbox tuning.
An off-dyno remap takes up to 40 minutes, and you can wait in reception. A rolling road remap with before and after power runs takes around half a day. Gearbox tuning and Stage 2 work can take longer, and we'll confirm timings when you book.
